René Hendrikse, Vice President, EMEA

René Hendrikse is Vice President, EMEA at iPass Inc. In this position, René is responsible for growing iPass business units across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region by extending in-country presence and driving revenue growth through new and existing channel partnerships including leading VARs, System Integrators and carriers. René joined iPass in October 2004 as Sales Director, Benelux and was promoted to Regional Sales Director, Northern Europe in January 2006. He assumed his current responsibilities in April 2007.

Prior to joining iPass, René has held various senior sales and management positions at Fiberlink, Worldcom, UUNET, CompuServe, and SAIT and has over 13 years' experience in the Internet Service Provider and Telecommunications industries.

René has a Bachelor of Science Information Technology, University of Utrecht, the Netherlands as well as a B.Sc. in Mobile Data Communications.
